Named for Durga, the Hindu warrior goddess associated with protection and the triumph over destructive forces, the Durga Necklace brings together three powerful symbols: the crescent moon, arrowhead, and Black Obsidian.

The arrowhead represents protection, strength, courage, and purposeful direction—an ancient form shaped for both survival and defense. Above it rests the crescent moon, symbolizing intuition, feminine wisdom, cycles, and the unseen guidance that illuminates our path.

At the center is a genuine Black Obsidian arrowhead, a volcanic glass traditionally associated with protection, purification, truth, and grounding. Black Obsidian is often used symbolically as a shield against unwanted energy while encouraging us to look beneath the surface, release what no longer serves us, and stand more firmly in our own truth.

Suspended from a long 30" gold-plated satellite chain, the Durga Necklace is designed to fall low on the body and make a striking statement worn alone or layered. The moon is gold plated brass, the obsidian arrowhead is dipped inn gold plating as well.

Each Black Obsidian arrowhead is individually carved and naturally unique. Slight variations in shape, size, color, and surface texture are to be expected, making every Durga Necklace one of a kind.
